New Employee Assistance Programme Launched




We’ve all been through a tough couple of years, brought about mainly by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, and fortunately there seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel - but even at the best of times we all need someone to talk to.


It could be advice about dealing with issues at the workplace, such as stress or bullying, or support for problems closer to home. It could be that you just want a friendly one-to-one with someone who will listen.


As part of our investment in people development and employee wellness, we are offering all our staff the opportunity to access the free and confidential services of one of the UK’s leading experts in employee well-being.


Unum’s Employee Assistance Programme, provided by LifeWorks, is a toolkit of personal and professional resources that you can use every day to make life better.


It provides a comprehensive range of services for you and your family, including legal and financial advice, wellness content and a range of perks and savings including gift cards, discount coupons and lifestyle offers.


There's also access to the LIFT virtual fitness app where you can benefit from personalised programmes and online coaching.


As members, you will also have access to professional counselling to help you resolve a wide range of work, health, and life concerns. And if you have caregiving responsibilities, Unum will provide one-to-one advice or a targeted resource package to help cope with those challenges.


The support is available to all Svella Connect employees, including management. Indeed it offers 24/7 access to confidential advice and guidance to help managers, supervisors, and people leaders deal with sensitive employee and workplace situations.
