Anna Parkinson is a Contracts Coordinator for Svella Connect, based in Warrington.
She works with the seven-strong team of managers covering the North West, assisting them with admin, routing out jobs, attending sites and generally keeping an eye on the day-to-day business.
“I enjoy the role as I’m really in the thick of things, which is great,” explained Anna. “And it’s really interesting to see how things work, close up. The team here are great, they really look out for each other – Svella Connect is a fantastic company to work for.
“Before Svella Connect I was at Ofcom, looking after the provision of broadband and service providers – so I do have experience of the telecoms industry.
“One thing I’d like to see more of here is fundraising activities, along the lines of Red Nose Day. I think events like that are fun, and I’ve taken part in a few cake-baking events myself in the past. Outside of work, I love going to the gym, and I also like nothing better than taking the dogs for a walk.
“During lockdown I started a little side-line supplying balloons for parties and corporate events. Don’t ask me why, or how, but it’s great fun and it’s really started to take off.”
