Connecting communities Empowering digitalisation Delivering the future
Our experience of delivering major projects across the UK makes us one of the UK’s most respected providers of digital infrastructure.
We provide the management and delivery of national and regional network infrastructure to major communications providers.
Our ability to provide full end-to-end network integration solutions for network providers, from conception to optimisation, ensures cost-effective project delivery, best value and innovation.
We apply our expertise at each stage of the project lifecycle to ensure the smooth delivery for our customers.
From designing, building and maintaining broadband infrastructure to providing clear, reliable information to local communities and working with local authorities to devise simple and effective digital solutions, we know how to deliver your project effectively and efficiently.
We’ve provided feasibility studies, site surveys, full network planning, installations, improvements, repairs and 24-hour emergency response services to high-speed fibre networks.
Svella Connect is helping the UK hit its Government-set target of full fibre coverage by 2033 and for the majority of the population to be covered by a 5G signal by 2027. Full Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) will deliver reliable, gigabit-capable connections to all.
These future-proofed networks will support greater productivity and economic growth, underpinning sectors including the creative industries and tourism.
A fully connected country will see a reduction in inequalities between and within regions and can power Britain forward as a digital trailblazer.
We are leading the charge in delivering the digital infrastructure to connect sustainable motoring.
We are aiming to ensure all households and businesses can reduce the environmental impact of their travel by facilitating the deployment of public electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
In 2020, despite overall car sales falling 29.4%, sales of battery vehicles were up 185% and hybrid vehicles were up by 91.2%. Public charging infrastructure provision nearly doubled in the two years until the end of 2020 – but if the UK is to hit Government targets the pace of that growth has to accelerate and in November 2020 the Government committed £1.3bn to roll-out charging points in England.
Our current projects.
As contractor partner for Virgin Media, we are currently involved in the delivery of national framework contracts across the Midlands, North West and Yorkshire.
The scope of works for these contracts encompasses a residential pre-enablement workstream building fibre from the cabinet to omni box outside the customer premises allowing Virgin Media engineers to complete the install inside the residence. To date, the team has executed around 40,000 residential pre-enablement connections.
The team at Svella Connect has been an approved BT contractor for over 15 years.
As part of the Fibre Cities project, we are currently undertaking a two-year contract in East Midlands to connect 140,000 homes to the fibre network.
The scope of works for this contract includes survey and build of spine cables and access connections providing fibre to the premises.
We are currently delivering full fibre rollouts across Barnsley on behalf of CityFibre, as part of phase one of the programme.
This covers more than 100,000 homes over three years and we are delivering these FTTP connections via a hybrid build technique encompassing PIA and traditional deployment methods.
