Connecting communities Empowering digitalisation Delivering the future
Environmental, Social & Governance
Svella Connect’s ESG strategy is guided by the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. That translates into taking care of our employees, engaging with communities and charities, reducing our impact on the environment and understanding our corporate and social responsibilities as a trusted employer.
People & Communities
Svella Connect is building a modern, connected Britain. To achieve that ambition we know that we need a modern, connected workforce.
To ensure that, we focus on the mental and physical wellbeing of our colleagues and open up career advancement and training pathways for everyone.
To achieve the service levels that mark us out as one of the leading firms in the digital infrastructure sector, we want to utilise all possible talents and that means being an inclusive employer with a diverse workforce.
It also means being aware of our surroundings and the people and businesses in our communities.
At Svella Connect we are focused on engaging with the communities in which we live and work to create a lasting legacy. We look after our current colleagues and look to inspire the workforce of the future through our relationships with trainers and education providers.

Driving Positive Change
A modern, digital economy is a greener, more sustainable economy and our services help create digital infrastructure solutions which underpin sustainable living.
Fibre networks reduce power consumption from digital devices and help to reduce electricity usage and the associated carbon footprint. By enabling remote working and reducing energy consumption in the storage of data, they can help to cut pollution and lead the way in moving to sustainable energy use.
By building electric vehicle charging infrastructure, we are helping open-up the mainstream use of EVs for both business and consumer purposes.
Environmental Protection
As sustainability becomes a critical issue for people and businesses across the country, Svella Connect is determined to lead the way in reducing the environmental impacts of telecommunications infrastructure projects.
We are committed to making our business less carbon intensive, managing the impacts of our site operations and being a positive contributor to biodiversity. We will engage our supply chain to identify and implement circular solutions, supporting and promoting a sustainable supply chain and the ethos of reduce, recycle and reuse.
We will invest in smart technology and increase the use of smart ways of working – from better journey planning to video conferencing – to reduce our impact. We will also train our staff on environmental matters and encourage them to do all they can at work and at home to help to protect the planet.
Business Responsibilities
As well as environmental sustainability, we are also committed to social sustainability, taking care to ensure we have a healthy, safe and productive workforce and that as a company we fulfil our ethical and financial commitments at all times.
We will strive to do business in the right way, complying with regulations and best practice in relation to business ethics whilst proactively engaging with our stakeholders.
Our customers can rely on us to operate to the highest levels of governance and to grow our business in a sustainable and responsible manner.
