Even though it’s just his first week in the business, new Svella Connect Chief Operating Officer Graeme Undy is highlighting a number of important points and critical process which all employees must follow to ensure the business runs smoothly.
Cascade
All holidays, annual leave and days off MUST be booked via the Cascade system. Some colleagues are not booking holidays correctly, resulting in them being off or out of the business without following the correct process. Cascade must be used to book all time off.
Electronic Timesheets
We have been running a trial to investigate the benefits of electronic timesheets, moving away from the time-consuming manual process. The trial is continuing and we will be expanding the live trials across additional sites in the coming weeks.
Investment in New Offices
As outlined previously, we are continuing our investment in new and improved office and depot facilities. Addressing the needs of our expanding teams and sites, we are in the final steps of securing two new operating locations that the existing Huthwaite and Warrington operations will move into.
The new fit-for-purpose facilities will house our teams and provide additional capacity for stock. Both sites are less than five miles from the current locations and updates will be shared once we have further details.
Driver Licence Checks
All company vehicle drivers MUST complete a mandatory driver licence check. These online licence checks take no longer than five minutes to complete and are important as part of our critical compliance risk.
