Katie Longthorne has joined Svella Connect as our Recruitment Business Partner. In line with our vision to be the industry employer of choice, Katie will be focusing on attracting and retaining great people within our business, exploring alternative talent pools and developing our early careers strategy.
With a construction and utilities background, Katie has the technical knowledge and experience to identify and source great candidates.
Katie joins us from Aberla, a recent acquisition by Svella Plc, and has over 10 years’ experience in the recruitment sector with Adepto Technical Recruitment, Morson International and Jam Engineering.
To help us focus on providing the highest levels of service to our customers and continue to enhance our network delivery, there are some job roles we urgently need to recruit for.
We are looking for civils operatives, cable operatives and fibre splicers across all three operational areas: Yorkshire, Midlands and the North West.
To help us reach more potential candidates, we have launched a new Facebook page and will be posting recruitment-focused adverts on both Facebook and LinkedIn over the coming days and weeks.
The Facebook page is up and running at www.facebook.com/svellaconnect and we are asking as many colleagues as possible to like and share our posts on both platforms. This will help us reach the widest possible audience to ensure that we attract the best people to join our teams.
