New Warehouse Management Systems & Technology Boost Stockholding Efficiency

The introduction of a range of new warehouse management systems, best-in-class technology and the recruitment of new warehouse managers has improved stock control and warehouse efficiency across Svella Connect.

The new depots at Leeds and Warrington feature full racking systems with high-spec materials handling equipment to help ensure much-improved levels of stockholding and more efficient supply of equipment.

This is underpinned by IT and warehouse management systems providing live stock reports and real-time tracking of inventory. New systems have also been implemented for the supply of consumables, small components and to manage both our stock and that of our customers.

Controlling the Leeds warehouse is Manager Chris McHugh while Phil Brew has joined as the Site Manager in Warrington.

Phil said: “For any successful business, it’s important we have the correct processes in place to effectively manage and control stock and consumables to ensure we can properly support operations.

“We are using industry-leading systems to manage stock, supply and re-ordering and use all the data to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible with accurate stock levels maintained at all times.”
