Svella Connect Strengthens Senior Team With Three Director Appointments

Matthew Taylor, Build Business Unit Director

Svella Connect begins 2023 on a very positive note with the announcement that it has appointed three new directors to its strengthened senior management team.

In September 2022, it announced the business would be restructured into operational business units, each headed by a Business Unit Director.

Three new Business Unit Directors have now joined Svella Connect, adding significant and diverse telecoms experience alongside a focus on delivery performance and a passion for coaching and developing the skills of their teams.

Jamie Moorhead joins as Connections Business Unit Director having held senior management positions in the data, accountancy and telecoms sectors, including three years at Openreach.

He has been responsible for large-scale transformation and change, delivering enhanced customer and employee satisfaction through process and operational improvement and people coaching.

As the new Networks Business Unit Director, Jack Short joins from Virgin Media where he most recently held the position of Head of Build Delivery for the Midlands.

He has helped transform the back-office teams in Virgin Media and has been heavily involved in increasing financial and commercial governance of projects to ensure they are delivered on time and on cost.

With an experienced and robust senior team, underpinned by a commitment to meet customer performance targets, Svella Connect will be focusing on driving productivity, business improvement and performance management throughout 2023.
